Samsung Galaxy F42 5G rumors as a rebranded Galaxy A22 5G
Samsung Galaxy F42 5G, one of the upcoming Samsung devices, seems nothing more than the rebranded Galaxy A22 5G.
The tech giant is working on launching its 3 5G smartphones, i.e., Galaxy Buddy, Galaxy Wide5, and Galaxy F42 5G. While the Galaxy F42 5G (SM-E426B) is bound to hit the global market, the other two seem exclusive to a specific region only.
As for the Galaxy F42 5G, the device has already been certified by Bluetooth SIG a few days earlier and was certified by the Wi-Fi alliance back in May. The rumors state that the Galaxy F42 5G will not be a new smartphone. Rather, there are high chances for the smartphone to be a rebranded form of Galaxy A22 5G.
In assessing the history, Samsung seems to have some knack for launching few new smartphones, with the only feature new being their name and model. So, there’s a high possibility for the rumor to be true but let’s hope it’s not.
Nevertheless, if the rumors are proven to be true, then we can expect the upcoming Galaxy F42 5G to sport a 6.6” FHD+ resolution along with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone may also be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and 4 and 8 GB RAM. The Galaxy F42 5G may also feature a triple camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary sensor, 5MP ultrawide lens, and 2MP depth sensor, along with an 8MP selfie shooter. The smartphone has a high possibility to be packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. And of course, the device should run on Android 11 with One UI Core 3.1 on top.
All the above-mentioned features are the probable/ rumored features of the upcoming Galaxy F42 5G, based on the device’s similarity with Galaxy A22 5G. As the device has already attained its Bluetooth SIG certification, we can expect the smartphone to be unveiled soon. So, let’s wait and see if the rumors prove to be true.
