Google Finally announced its Pixel Watch, which will be released this fall

After months & months of leaks and rumors, Google has finally announced its Pixel Watch. Though the watch has been announced now, it will be released this fall along with the Pixel 7 & 7 Pro series. We still don’t have all the details about the watch, but we definitely know how it’s gonna look and run. Today, let’s have a closer look at the Google Pixel Watch and we will also guess the expected Google Pixel Watch price in Nepal. Though it might never get launched in this part of the world. 

Google Pixel Watch Overview 

When Google unveiled the design of the Pixel Watch, I was not very surprised as they have been leaking on the web since last year. We get a round face with chunky bezels all around. Google didn’t mention anything about the size and if we are going to get two different variants or not. 

Talking more about the design, we can see a tactile round crown with a button on the right side of the Pixel Watch. These are made out of recycled stainless steel and also support swappable proprietary bands.

As these are Google Products, the software is what excites most of us. Here, the Pixel Watch will be running a refined version of Wear OS 3 with a revamped user interface. Along with the standard Google Apps support like Maps, Assistant, Google Wallet, and Google Home, we will get an optimized integration of Fitbit Software features. 

In November of 2019, Google acquired Fitbit for almost $2.1 billion. So we can expect tight integration between Fitbit and Google services on the Pixel Watch. The Pixel Watch will be using all the Fitbit’s latest algorithms for health and fitness. The Pixel Watch users will be able to sync their data with their Fitbit accounts. This means they’ll be able to view it within the Fitbit app and on the web. The Watch will definitely feature health-related features like heart rate, sleep tracking, Active Zone Minutes, and more.

Due to tight Google integration, the Pixel Watch will be able to control your smart home gadgets, ring your phone or even find your earbuds. Not only that, but it will also feature the controls for your Pixel Earbuds. 

Google Pixel Watch Price in Nepal and Availability

As of now, we do not have an exact pricing and release date for the Google Pixel Watch. But as google stated, the Pixel Watch will be released along with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Looking at its features set and its Pixel branding, we expect the Pixel Watch to be priced somewhat similar to the Apple Watch SE at $279. The expected Google Pixel watch price in Nepal is NPR.50,000, if it ever gets launched in Nepal.
