iPhone 12 series is the first one from the company to have 5G smartphones. It supports mmWave in the US and is also more widely spread sub-6GHz 5G.
iPhone 12 is fueled with the latest flagship chipset of the company called A14 bionic which has a six-core CPU: two powerful cores and 4 power-efficient cores. Also, it has 4 core GPU. It has 11.8 billion transistors which are almost 40% more than A13 bionic.
Apple is always renowned for its quality performance in the photography aspect. It has a 12MP f/1.6 main camera that has 27% better light capture. Thus, it can take images in Night Mode with more details. It has Smart HDR 3 which has improved white balance, texture, and saturation. The secondary camera in support is a 12MP f/2.4 ultra-wide camera.
Unsurprisingly, Apple isn’t shipping chargers and earbuds in the box. You will only get Type-C to lightning cable in the box to charge your device. iPhone 11 also supports Magsafe which can be seamlessly attached to the rear side of the phone for wireless charging of 15W and wired charging of up to 20W.
Apple has also announced a Silicone Case, Clear Case, Leather Wallet, Magsafe, and Apple’s USB-C 20W charger exclusively for iPhone 12 series.
iPhone 12 Mini Overview
iPhone 12 Mini is the smallest 5G smartphone to date. It comes with 5.4 inches super XDR OLED display that supports a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels with 460ppi pixel density and 1200nits peak brightness.
Other specs like chipset, camera system, charging, and color options, are similar to iPhone 12. It’s just that it comes in a smaller size.
