Last year Xiaomi launched Mi TV 4X 4K 55’’ and Mi TV 4A Pro during the festival season and, these TVs have done an excellent job in terms of sales and also winning the hearts of the customers. In this article we will be having a quick look into those 4 TVs Xiaomi launched, stating their USPs and price in Nepal.
Mi TV 4A 40” & 32’’
Mi TV 4A is the entry-level TVs from Xiaomi currently available in Nepal. They are available in two different screen sizes, 40 inches, and 32 inches. If you want to get a taste of an Android Smart TV experience without pain in your pockets then these two might be a good option.
You get an FHD panel on the 40-inch model with 1920×1080 resolution and thin bezels while on the 32-inch model, it’s an HD ready screen with 1366 x 768 resolution and both offer a viewing angle of 178°. Here we have two 10W speakers on both variants making 20W of total output. These speakers are DTS-HD certified, so filling a small room won’t be a problem.
Talking more about the specification of these TVs, they run on an Amlogic Cortex A53 quad-core CPU with up to 1.5GHz of clock speed and we also get Mali-450 MP3 GPU which can go up to 750MHz. You get 1GB RAM and 8GB eMMC storage. Though the specs here are not groundbreaking, the TVs run on Android TV OS 9 and can easily handle tasks like streaming from OTT platforms, control home devices with Google Assistant, and even chrome cast seamlessly.
For connectivity, you get the support of Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi 2.4GHz. Last year Xiaomi launched Mi TV 4X 4K 55’’ and this one is its big brother. Mi TV 4X 65 inch is one of the most high-end TV that Xiaomi has to offer. It has a premium-looking design with thin bezels and a metal body and 4K HDR display, Dolby Audio, MEMC technology, and much more.
Upfront the Mi TV 4X supports a 65 inches 4K panel with 3840 x 2160 resolution. It is an HDR-supported 10-bit color display with WCG. It is also equipped with a vivid color engine and MEMC technology to provide a blur-free rendering of high-speed action for sportscasts, games, and more. Mi TV 4X features four powerful sound speakers and a Slim 2.25 inch woofer 13mm x 26mm runway tweeters with the support for Dolby Audio and DTS HD sound.
As the TV has to power a 4K HDR 10 Bit display, it has a powerful processor compared to others in the list. Here we get a 64-bit Quad-core CPU from Mediatek with A55 cores and Mali-470 MP3.
