Microsoft has launched the new Surface 5 computer along with the surface pro 9 and surface Surface Studio 2+. Microsoft recently held a Livestream launch event on Wednesday that revealed new products, along with some other updates to Windows 11, new AI platforms for creativity, and an Audio Dock that doubles as a USB-C hub. Display and design:
The Microsoft Surface 5 launched comes in 13.5-inch and 15-inch screen sizes. The device features a PixelSense display that offers a 2256 x 1504 pixels resolution and Dolby Vision IQ support. Both displays are in a 3:2 aspect ratio and are protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The Surface Laptop 5 is available in four colors Platinum, Sage, Black, and Sandstone.
Performance:
Moving on to the processors, the surface 5 laptops feature updated processors. The 13.5-inch Surface Laptop comes with an Intel Core i5-1235U / i7-1255U processor, whereas the 15-inch edition Comes with a Core i7-1255U processor. These all laptop models comes with 8 GB / 16 GB / 32 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256 GB / 512 GB / 1 TB of SSD storage. Similarly, The 13.5-inch model edition offers up to 18 hours of battery life. However, the larger model can last for up to 17 hours.
Connectivity and other features:
These laptop models feature connectivity options such as 1 x USB-C Thunderbolt 4, 1 x USB-A, 1 x Surface Connect port, a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, and Bluetooth 5.0. It comes with other features such as Windows Hello face sign-in, Surface Pen support, Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Atmos, and dual far-field microphones. The 13.5-inch surface 5 comes with an Alcantara keyboard finish.
Price and availability:
The surface 5 13.5-inch variant starts at $999, whereas the 15-inch Surface 5 starts at The expected price of the Microsoft Surface 5 price in Nepal will be 131,557 for the 13.5 Model and Rs 171,063 for the 15-inch. It will be available for purchase in different markets starting on Oct. 25. There hasn’t been any official release on the Microsoft Surface 5 price in Nepal.
