Beast Performance with all-new Snapdragon 860
Poco X3 Pro has a similar design to the X3 NFC that we will discuss later. Let’s get into the performance straight away. It is the first device to launch with Snapdragon 860 SoC. It has been manufacture under 7nm tech and has a flagship-level tri-cluster structure with One Prime 2.97Ghz core, three 2.42Ghz Performance, and four 1.82Ghz cores for efficiency. Not only the CPU but GPU also gets a flagship treatment here, with Adreno 640 handling the GPU duties to the power that 120Hz display.
Along with the SoC, we get up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. Talking about the storage, it is expandable and supports micro-SD cards up to 1TB. All this worked together to put out an Antutu score of 491,912, 72% more than the Snapdragon 720G and 52% more than 765G.
120Hz Gorilla Glass 6, Stereo Speakers & 5160 mAH battery
Carrying out the ‘X’ series POCO devices’ legacy, we get a 120Hz display here too. It’s a 6.67-inch FHD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240 Hz touch sampling rate. On top of that, it supports a Dynamic switch of refresh rate between 50,60,90 & 120Hz depending on your content. It has Gorilla Glass 6 for protection and HDR10 certification. While at the back, it has a dual texture body with an anti-fingerprint design. However, the back might still be plastic, as we don’t have confirmation about that. Poco X3 Pro also features a stereo speaker setup with Hi-Res audio, Z-axis linear motor, IR blaster, NFC, and a headphone jack.
Talking about the battery, here we have a 5160mAh li-ion powering all those fancy techs. It sports 33W fast charging, which can top it up from 0-100 in 59 minutes, and the 33W charger is provided in the box.
48MP Quad Camera Setup
Poco X3 Pro brings a quad-camera setup back with a similar camera bump as the X3 NFC. Here we get a 48MP f/1.79 Sony IMX 582 shooter with ½’’ large sensor size. Along with that, you get an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera with 4cm focus range, and 2MP depth sensor for portrait images. While at the front, we are treated with a 20MP shooter in a small punch hole cutout.
