Finally, Realme has entered the flagship smartphone market in Nepal. The company has launched the Realme GT 2 Pro as its first flagship phone in Nepal. It comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and a flat 2K 120Hz AMOLED display. Design and Display
The Realme GT 2 Pro sports a 6.7 inches LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display that comes with a WQHD+ resolution of 3216 × 1440 pixels. Its 120Hz refresh rate can go all the way down to 1Hz depending upon the content consumption for saving the battery.
Likewise, it features up to a 1000Hz instant touch sampling rate and 1400 nits of peak brightness. It is an HDR10+ certified display that is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Moreover, the display has 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and a 92.6% screen-to-body ratio.
Talking about the design, Realme GT 2 Pro features a triple camera setup at the back panel that comes in a square-shaped box. There is a cool-looking logo of Realme right next to the camera lens. Its back panel is made up of bio-based material and is designed in collaboration with Naoto Fukasawa.
Performance
Under the hood, Realme GT 2 Pro packs Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC. This chip is built under 4nm architecture. It is an octa-core CPU with 1×3.00 GHz Cortex-X2 & 3×2.50 GHz Cortex-A710 & 4×1.80 GHz Cortex-A510 CPU cores. Whereas, the graphics of the device is handled by Adreno 730.
Likewise, the device runs on Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 skin on top. In Nepal, it is available in only one memory configuration of 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Moreover, it has Stainless Steel Vapor Cooling System Max for keeping the temperature under control. As the company claims, it can reduce the temperature of the phone by 19℃.
Camera
Moving on to cameras, Reame GT 2 Pro is featured with a triple camera setup where the main camera is a 50MP, f/1.8 lens that supports OIS. As a secondary camera, there is a 50 MP, f/2.2 aperture ultrawide camera with an angle view of 150˚. Completing the setup there is a 3 MP, f/3.0 aperture macro lens with 40x magnification.
The main camera can record videos up to 8K, 4K@30/60fps, and 1080p@30/60/240fps. At the front, there is a 32 MP, f/2.4 aperture single selfie camera that can record videos up to 1080p@30fps.
Other Features
Likewise, the device comes with a 5000mAh battery, where it will also feature 65W fast charging support. An under-display fingerprint scanner is featured with other sensors like an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
