Xiaomi, on its 10th anniversary, launched flagship Redmi K30 ultra along with Mi 10 ultra. Redmi K30 ultra looks quite similar to Redmi K30 Pro from the outside with few hardware changes in the inside. Let’s have a look at what are the changes that Xiaomi has made on Redmi 30 Ultra.
Display and design:
Redmi K30 ultra comes with a Full HD+ AMOLED display made by Samsung measuring 6.67 inches. It has 120Hz of display refresh rate and 240Hz of the touch sampling rate. It also switches between 120Hz and 60Hz display refresh rate automatically to optimize the battery consumption. There’s no notch in the front section of the device which means there’s a pop up front camera which gives 92.7% screen to body ratio.
The rear side of the device comes with a circular quad-camera bump having the support of dual LED flash from outside the bump. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device.
It is powered by Mediatek’s flagship chipset, Dimensity 1000+ 5G (7nm) octa-core (4×2.6 GHz Cortex-A77 & 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) processor. The GPU of the device has Mali-G77 MC9. The phone is paired with one of 6/8GB RAM and 128/256/512GB internal storage. It runs Android 10 OS customized with MIUI 12 skin on the top.
For better gaming, there are dual hyper engine 2.0, Game Turbo Optimization engines, 3,495mm2 ultra-large area vapor chamber with graphene + graphite 30 heat dissipation system. In short, users can experience smooth gaming without any CPU throttling issues.
The rear side of K30 Ultra has quad-camera which are of 64MP (main) + 13MP (ultra wide) + 5MP (tele macro) + 2MP (portrait depth sensor). The front camera is a pop-up camera which is a 20MP sensor. K30 Ultra has AI capabilities such as AI skyscraping and photo clones which let the user make creative photographs.
The battery capacity of K30 Ultra is 4,500mAh which is capable of running the device for the whole day. It comes with the support of 33W fast charging that can charge the smartphone from 0% to 100% just in an hour.
