The Redmi Note series has always been one of the most hyped and well-received series of devices by consumers. Redmi has just announced the 11th generation of their Note series of devices: Redmi Note 11 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G. Design and Display 

Redmi Note 11 looks similar to its Pro and Pro+ siblings with a large camera housing at the back and a flat side design with a punch-hole display at the front. The display on the Redmi Note 11 is a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel. It’s an FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a pixel density of 399 PPI. It is a 90Hz panel which is good to see. Though on the last year’s Redmi Note 10 we got a 60Hz AMOLED display. Talking about other aspects of design, the device is 8.8mm thin and comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IR blaster along a stereo speaker setup.

Performance 

Redmi Note 11 5G packs the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. It is a 5G ready chip built under a 6nm fabrication process. The GPU here is Mali-G57 MC2. Along with this, we get a 4/6/8GB RAM configuration with either 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. Redmi devices are always known for their price to performance ratio, and the case looks similar this time too. The 6nm MediaTek SoC is a good performer with 2×2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores. 

Redmi Note 11 runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top. 

Camera & Battery 

This time on the rear we are treated with a dual-camera setup on the back. Here we have a 50MP Main Camera with PDAF along with an 8MP Ultra-wide. While at the front we have a 16MP selfie shooter. Redmi devices always have a decent camera setup in their price segment and the camera is not something where they excel. 

Talking about the battery. Redmi Note 11 features a 5,000mAh cell with 33W fast charging support. Whereas the Pro 5G and Pro+ 5G support 67W and 120W fast charging respectively.

As of now the Redmi Note 11 5G has been launched in China at a starting price of CYN 1,119 for the 4/128GB variant and goes till CYN 1,699 for the 8/256GB model. The expected price of the Redmi Note 11 5G in Nepal is Rs.23,000 for a 4/128GB variant.
