Redmi Note 9 with 120Hz display

New Redmi Note 9 series with 120Hz display & 108MP Camera launching soon

Earlier, we came with the news for Redmi Note 10 series but it seems that Xiaomi is yet not done with Redmi Note 9 series. Three models that we discussed earlier to come under Redmi Note 10 series could be the models to lineup Redmi Note 9 series.

We already have five models under Redmi Note 9 series and still, it seems that the series family is getting bigger not by one model but by three more in the lineup. According to the famous Chinese tipster, Digital Chat Station, these three models will get unveiled in China in the middle of this month.

The base variant of the models is expected to have the top left corner positioned punch-hole. From an Image surfaced on Weibo, we can say that the device’s model number is M2007J22C that will come with 8GB RAM, Android 10 OS, MIUI 12, an octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz. It could be the processor from Mediatek’s which is likely to be Dimensity 800U. The model number spotted at 3C certification of China had 22.5W charging support. It would have a 48MP triple AI camera setup on the rear side. But this smartphone could go global under POCO branding as model number M2007J22G was a POCO device as approved by EEC Authority.

One of them, supposed to be the top model, is expected to come with 6.67 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display that has a high adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. It switches between the refresh rate of 30,48,50,60,90 and 120Hz to give a smooth experience saving battery consumption. The battery capacity is said to be 4800mAh while the phone is expected to 5G. It will have a top center-positioned punch-hole giving it a premium look and will sport Samsung’s 108MP ISOCELL HM2 sensor on the rear side.

Still, there could be more surprises from the company while the leaks and renders about Redmi Note 10 series turned out to be the leaks of new models of the Redmi Note 9 series. If it’s true then most probably we won’t be able to see Redmi Note 10 series this year.
