Samsung was quick to bring their S22 series of devices in Nepal for Pre-orders and now as the preorders are over the S22 series devices are available for purchase in Nepal through the retailer. As of now, these are the only flagship devices powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC in Nepal. Let’s have a quick look into these devices with their features and specifications.

This is for someone who wants a handy yet powerful device. The device has an excellent 6.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports HDR10+ and 1300 nits (peak) brightness. As I already mentioned, the device is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with Adreno 730 GPU. Along with that, we get a Triple camera setup with a 50MP Primary, 10MP telephoto, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera including a 10MP selfie shooter. along with this, we get 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs on the latest Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top.

Like its smaller sibling, Samsung S22+ packs a similar processor and memory configuration. We get to see a larger display at 6.6-inch 120Hz FHD+ Super AMOLED display with similar excellent quality and Gorilla Glass Victus+. Also, it has a similar camera setup compared to the S22 with a 50MP Primary, 10MP telephoto, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and the front houses a 10MP shooter. The Samsung Galaxy S22+ packs a bigger battery compared to the S22 at 4500mAh and supports upto 45W of fast charging like the bigger Ultra. On the software side, we get a similar Android 12 with One UI 4.1.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the best what Samsung has to offer. The device is just like a Note device from Samsung, with a boxy design, curve edges, and of course the S-Pen support. Upfront we get 6.8 inches of 2K Super AMOLED display with 120Hz LTPO technology. The display supports max brightness upto 1700nits, supports HDR10+, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus plus.
We get one of the best, quad-camera setups in a smartphone with a massive 108MP primary camera, a 10MP Periscopic 10X Zoom Lens, a 10MP 3X Zoom lens, and a 12 MP Ultra-wide camera, and the front come with a 40MP selfie shooter. We get Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC along with 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512 GB of internal storage. On the battery front, we have a 5000mAh cell with 45W charging support, though the charger is not provided with any device of the S22 series. Like its sibling, it also runs on Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top.
