Samsung is one of those leading companies that do research in smartphones considering various aspects, targeting every user. To make the domination in the budget smartphone category, Samsung releases its cheapest Galaxy smartphone, Samsung Galaxy M01 Core in India.
Samsung Galaxy M01 core specs:
Samsung Galaxy M01 core comes with 5.3 inches TFT LCD panel with support for HD+ resolutions. The aspect ratio of the screen is 18:9. The smartphone is made up of plastic with certain patterns on the rear side which gives grip while holding it.
It is powered by MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor having a maximum clock speed of 1.5GHz. Galaxy M01 core runs on android 10 Go edition OS with one UI skin on the top. The phone is out in two configurations: 1GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB internal storage and 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB internal storage.
Talking about its camera, on the rear side, it has an 8MP f/2.2 single camera while the front camera is 5MP f/2.4 single camera. Unlike other phones, it doesn’t have a better camera which is of course due to the price of the phone.
The capacity of the battery is 3000mAh which is more capacitive as it will have less battery-draining software and hardware. Also, the phone supports dual-SIM, microSD, 3.5mm headphone jack. The charging of the phone is through a micro USB port.
Price and Availability of Galaxy M01 core:
Galaxy M01 core is available in three different color variants: Red, Blue, and Black. The phone costs INR 5,499 (~NPR 8,799) for 1GB+16GB variant and INR 6,499 (~NPR 10,399) for 2GB+32GB variant and will go on sale in India from the 29th of July. Samsung Nepal might also launch this device very soon in Nepal.
