Along with the Xiaomi 11i, Xiaomi also launched the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge in India today. The device is similar to the regular Xiaomi 11i but we see some major improvements in the charging speeds as the name suggests. We have already covered Xiaomi 11i in our previous article, here on this one let’s have a closer look into its specification, features, and expected Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge price in Nepal.
Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge Overview
Build and Design
Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge looks exactly similar to the regular Xiaomi 11i. We get a boxy design with Gorilla Glass 5 in the front and a glass back with a large camera hump. Along with all this, we get a stereo speaker, 3.5mm headphone jack with Dolby Audio and Hi-Res Audio support. The device is also protected by IP 53 rating for dust and splash resistance. Talking about the weight the device weighs around 204gm and is 8.3mm thin.
On the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge, we get a 6.67-inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is also HDR10 certified and has a typical brightness of 700 nits with 1200 nits of peak brightness. This is the same display that we get with the regular Xiaomi 11i. Looking at the specs, it looks like Xiaomi 11i hypercharge is going to provide a really good media-consuming experience when coupled up with that stereo speaker setup.
Under the hood, Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 920 5G SoC. It is an octa-core SoC built under a 6nm fabrication process. Here we get 2×2.5 GHz Cortex-A78 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 CPU cores along with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. This SoC configuration is coupled with 6GB/8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
Though the device is a bit overpriced when it comes to price to performance ratio, we have to see how well Xiaomi can optimize the device and can squeeze the most out of the SoC. This is the same SoC, which we saw on the Chinese Redmi Note 11 Pro+, launched in China a few weeks ago.
Here at the rear, we are treated with a quad-camera setup, starting with a 108MP f/1.9 primary shooter with support for Dual PDAF and is paired with an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera with 120˚ of the field of view. While the last one is not so special 2MP f/2.4 macro shooter. The device is capable of recording 4K videos upto 30fps from its rear camera. While at the front we get a 16MP f/2.5 shooter inside the punch hole, which can record 1080Pm videos upto 30fps. The camera app is filled with features like AI Beauty, AI Watermark, Face Recognition, Timed continuous shooting, Long exposure, Night scene mode, Document mode, Dynamic photo, and many more.
Battery and Charging
Now we reached the USP of the device and its major highlighting feature and that is its super-fast charging capability. The Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge features a 4500mAh battery along with 120W of fast charging. According to Xiaomi, the device can get from 0-100%v in just 15 minutes, and that’s crazy. On top of that, the fast charging 120W adapter is provided in the box.m Which makes Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge the fastest charging smartphone in India.
