There have been quite many rumours escalating about Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 series especially focusing on the iPhone 15 Pro lineup. Only recently comes the CAD renders of the iPhone 15 Pro that suggests that the pro model will feature innovative ‘Taptic buttons’ along with solid stated mute switches. Let’s get into the details.
iPhone 15 Pro to feature Taptic buttons and mute switches
While there have been traditional volume buttons for increasing and decreasing sounds, the new leak suggests that the upcoming Taptic buttons will be pressure sensitive. The button adjusts volume faster in sync with harder presses.
Besides the button, the mute switch will also be there but this time in a solid state form. These Taptic buttons will be exclusive to the pro models which are the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. While it seems that the vanilla models will have Apple’s physical mute switch.
The leaks were shared on Douyin by user chenwen1987 which was later shared by tipster Abishek Yadav. However such renders are not confirmed so we’ll have to wait for further updates in future.
