The latest offering from iQOO has been launched in India today. The device is priced really competitively and might give a really tough competition to the offerings from Xiaomi and Realme at the same price point. iQOO Z6 Overview

Design and Display

Looking at the design the iQOO Z6 looks just like the Vivo T1 5G, which was launched a few weeks ago in India. The device features a plastic frame and plastic back with a dew-drop notch display at the front. Talking more about the display, here we are dealing with a 6.58-inches of IPS FHD display. This is a 120Hz high refresh-rate panel with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The high touch sampling rate would really come handly during fast pace RPG games.

Performance & Software

iQOO is marketing the device as the fastest smartphone at 15,000 segments in India. Talking about the processor used on the iQOO Z6, here we get Snapdragon 695 SoC. This is an octa-core CPU and has a maximum cock speed of 2.2Ghz for its high-performance Kryo 660 Gold cores. Along with that we also get Adreno 619 GPU.

Recently Xiaomi India launched the Redmi Note 11 Pro series of devices that are powered by a similar processor but are priced way higher than the one teased by iQOO. So, it would be interesting to see how Xiaomi tries to compete with this.

iQOO claims that the device was able to produce 410,563 points on the Antutu 9 test with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage onboard.

On the software side on things, we will be getting Android 11 on the iQOO Z6 with Functouch OS 12 on top.

In the optics department, we are getting specs similar to the Vivo T1 5G. So, iQOO Z6 will be providing a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP f/1.8 primary shooter along with a 2MP f/2.4 depth and macro shooter. While on the front inside the dew-drop notch we get a 16MP selfie shooter. The device can record Full HD videos from both rear and front camera setup at 30fps.

iQOO Z6 Price in Nepal and Availability

As of now, iQOO India has launched the device starting at INR.15,499 for the base 4GB/128GB variant, while the higher 6/128GB starts at INR.17,999. There is an initial INR.2,000 discount for HDFC card holders. iQOO is yet to enter the Nepali market but if it does with the iQOO Z6 we expect the price of iQOO Z6 in Nepal to start at NPR.26,000. If the device gets launched at this price it would give serious competition to the offerings from brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, and Realme
