With the start of the New Year, Motorola has already come up with three additions to the G-series lineup. Motorola Nepal also had gone all-in with launching three phones in the past month itself with Moto E7 Plus, Moto G9 Play, and the recent Moto G8 Power lite. The three new G series phones are also in the budget segment, with all having Snapdragon 400s in the G Play and Snapdragon 600s the G power and G Stylus. Let’s head into talking about the three G series phone and their launch and price in Nepal.
Motorola Moto G Stylus (2021)
Out of the lot, Moto G Stylus has a better and the biggest display with a 6.8-inch IPS LCD with an FHD+ resolution. As the name suggests, the phone features a “push-pen” stylus.

Like most phones, this phone also has a quad-camera setup with a 48MP wide primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro and depth sensor. For selfies, the phone has a 16MP wide sensor. And about the phone’s endurance, it has a 4000mAh battery with only a 10W charging. Talking about the Moto G Stylus price in Nepal, it would be Rs.35,000(converted) according to the US’s $300 pricing, but you can expect the phone to launch in below Rs.30,000 in Nepal.
Motorola Moto G Power (2021)
Next up on the line up is the Moto G Power with a drop in screen size and resolution with 6.6 inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 662 SoC complemented by a 3/4GB RAM and 32GB memory for the 3GB variant and 64GB memory for the 4GB variant. With the Moto G Power, the 8 MP ultra-wide lens is also gone with a triple camera setup of 48MP primary camera and 2MP lens for macro and depth sensor. An ultra-wide camera could have done more justice than the 2MP gimmicky lenses. And as for the selfie, you an 8MP wide lens.
Whereas, on the battery aspect, Motorola has increased the size from the G stylus with a 5000mAh and the same 10W charger.
Finally, talking about the pricing, Moto G Power price in Nepal would start at Rs.23,000(converted) for the 3+64GB variant and Rs.29,000(converted) for the 4+128GB variant according to the US’s pricing of $200 and $250. But you will generally get the phones cheaper than the US pricing with around Rs.20,000 price in Nepal.

Finally, the cheapest on the lot is the Moto G Play with the smallest 6.5 inch IPS LCD of HD+ resolution. The phone is powered by an entry-level Snapdragon 460 SoC complemented by 3GB RAM with a storage of 32GB. The camera setup also has been dropped down to a dual camera with a 13MP wide lens as the primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Talking about the camera on the front, you get a small 5MP wide lens.
The phone’s endurance is impressive with the same 5000mAh battery but with a less power-hungry chipset. Like the two phones, this also gets a 10W charger.
