Redmi Note 9T sports a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with an FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate featuring a punch-hole design. The display has an 84% screen-to-body ratio with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The phone is built with a plastic back and has a water repellent coating.
Performance is where the phone shines with Mediatek Dimensity 800U, which outperforms 750G on its own Mi 10i 5G and gives tough competition to the Snapdragon 765G from the OnePlus Nord. The phone has an octa-core processor with two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. Whereas the graphics are taken care by the Mali-G57 MC3 GPU. The phone has 4GB RAM with 64GB UFS 2.1 and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage to complement the performance package.
The camera aspect is decent with a triple camera setup and could have been better with an additional ultra-wide camera. Redmi Note 9T has a 48MP primary sensor with a gimmicky 2MP lens for the depth and macro sensor. The selfie camera also missed out on a wide lens with a standard 13MP lens.
Talking about endurance, the phone features a 5000 mAh battery supporting a 12W fast charger.
