Xiaomi launching Redmi Note 9T 5G: 90Hz Display and a Mediatek Dimensity 800U SoC
Xiaomi has already rebranded the Chinese Note 9 series for the global launch, and after Mi 10i and Redmi 9 Power, the final on the list is Redmi Note 9T 5G. The Redmi Note 9T is launching on January 8 globally. The phone will be launched with a 90hz display and a Mediatek Dimensity 800U SoC. Let’s dive into the article talking about specs, features, and Redmi Note 9T price in Nepal.
Redmi Note 9T 5G Overview
Design and Display
Talking about the display, you will get a 6.53inches IPS LCD with a 90hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display has an aspect ratio of 19.5, an 83.6% screen-to-body ratio also supports resolutions of up to 1080p.
The Redmi Note 9T 5G has a plastic back with a glass front and is built in a plastic frame. You will see the circular triple camera setup with a 48 MP primary camera and Redmi branding on the back.
Xiaomi has fueled this device with a Mediatek Dimensity 800U chipset, which performs better with a higher clock speed and better architecture than the Snapdragon 750G on the Mi 10i. The best part is the Octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. The phone has 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB UFS 2.2 storage, almost twice as fast as the UFS 2.1 storage.
The Redmi Note 9T graphics are handled by Mali-G57 MC3, which performs like the Adreno 620 from the Snapdragon 765G you might have seen on the One Plus Nord.
Camera and Battery
Unlike the Xiaomi Mi 10i with a whopping 108MP primary camera, Redmi Note 9T 5G has a 48MP primary camera. Redmi Note 9T has an 8mp ultra-wide lens and 2MP macro lens to complement the triple camera setup. Redmi Note 9T can shoot videos up to 4k at 30fps and 1080p at 30/60 fps with the rear camera.
The front camera has a 13MP standard sensor instead of the wide sensor you usually see in smartphones. The front camera can shoot videos up to 1080p at 30fps.
Talking about endurance, Redmi Note 9T 5G has a usual 5000mAh like most phones out there and supports fast charging of up to 18W.
Recently Xiaomi had launched three phones in China under the Note 9 series. Xiaomi has launched Redmi 9 Power as a rebranded Redmi Note 9 4G, and Xiaomi Mi 10i as a rebranded Redmi Note 9 5G. Looking at the Xiaomi India pricing, it has priced the phones just around the converted price from the Chinese Yuan. And as for Nepal, you can expect Redmi Note 9T price in Nepal to go just a bit higher than the Indian Pricing.
