The Nothing Phone (2a) boasts an elegant design. It introduces a pioneering 90° infinity back cover, elevating its transparent design while reinforcing structural strength. The Glyph Interface further enhances user interaction with customizable light patterns and sounds. The Nothing Phone (2a) improves upon the Phone (1) with a distinct LED arrangement for the back glyph & features only 3 separations, it achieves 26 addressable LED lighting zones, doubling the previous model’s 12 zones. It comes with dimensions, measuring 161.74 mm in height, 76.32 mm in width, and 8.55 mm in depth, and weighs only 190 grams. The smartphone is available in color options like Black and White. It is also IP68 dustproof and waterproof.

The Nothing Phone (2a) boasts an enormous 6.7-inch Flexible AMOLED display, protected by durable Gorilla Glass 5. It also comes with a high screen resolution of 1084 x 2412 pixels, 91.65% screen-to-body ratio, HDR10+ certification, a vibrant 10-bit color depth showcasing over a billion colors, and an impressive 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio that delivers deep blacks. There’s also a peak brightness of 1300 nits, outdoor brightness of 1100 nits, and a typical brightness of 700 nits. The smartphone has an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 30 to 120 Hz, a 240 Hz touch sampling rate, and a 2160 Hz of PWM frequency.

As for performance, the Nothing Phone (2a) rocks a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro processor. The chipset is built on the cutting-edge 4 nm Gen 2 TSMC process (N4P). The octa-core chipset consists of two Cortex-A715 cores running at 2.8 GHz and six Cortex-A510 cores operating at 2.0 GHz. Likewise, the graphics of the smartphone is handled by Arm Mali-G610 MC4 GPU and HyperEngine 5.0. It has an antutu score of 740,000.

In terms of memory configuration, the device comes with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage onboard. The smartphone is running on Nothing OS 2.5, a customized version of Android 14, the software experience is as impressive as the hardware. There’s also an advanced cooling system for performance and longevity. It has a 3200mm² extra large vapor chamber and a 12,000 mm² large cooling area. 

Camera:

Talking about the photography aspect of the device, the camera aspect of Nothing Phone (2a) is nothing short of extraordinary. It sports a dual camera setup at the rear. It consists of a staggering 50 MP primary camera with F/1.88 aperture with OIS and EIS, this device guarantees stable shots even in challenging conditions. Further, it is complemented by the 50 MP ultra-wide camera with a 114° field of view.
