Audio
The OnePlus Nord Buds 2r has a 12.4mm driver and a titanium-coated diaphragm. The earbuds have also been precisely engineered to meet the needs of consumers who prefer earphones with a kick of bass. It has a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20kHz and comes with four microphones (two on each side).
Aside from that, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r supports OnePlus Fast Pair, Sound Master Equaliser, Dolby Atmos, and Dirac Sound Tuning. On an OPPO or OnePlus phone, no app is required, but other Android and iOS devices can customize its features using the “HeyMelody” app.
Design
Talking about the design on the Nords Buds 2r, they have a slight oval rounded feel. They look almost similar to the regular Nords buds 2 with the exception being the edges of the stem carved off in this variant.
They are in-ear earbuds that slip into a pill-shaped charging case. These earphones come in Deep Grey and Triple Blue color variants. Moreover, they are also IP55 rated for dust and water splash resistance and weigh only 4.3 grams each. The charging case weighs around 38 grams.
Battery
The earbuds have a small 36mAh battery, while the case has a larger 480mAh battery. They can charge quickly. OnePlus says that when the earbuds are fully charged, they can last for up to 8 hours. If you use the case to charge them, users can expect a total usage time of 38 hours.
