Oppo had debuted a new device in the A series in Thailand – the Oppo A77 5G. It is a midrange 5G phone powered by Dimensity 810 chipset. Design and Display
Oppo A77 5G makes use of a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display that comes with an HD+ resolution. It features a 90Hz refresh rate which can be switched down to 60Hz to save the battery. Likewise, it has a 90hz of touch sampling rate and 600 nits of peak brightness.
The handset has a plastic finish on both the back panel and frame. It rectangular camera module at the top left corner and its fingerprint scanner is embedded in the power button. Furthermore, it comes in two color options: Black and Blue.
Camera
The phone has two cameras on the back. It has a 48MP main shooter that has an f/1.7 aperture. The secondary lens is a 2MP depth sensor for collecting depth data. Similarly, there is an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Here you can have the option to get up to 1080p@30fps videos from both rear and front cameras. Sadly, it doesn’t have Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) feature.
Performance
Oppo A77 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset. Its CPU has 8 cores with 2 cores clocking at 2.4Ghz and the reaming six cores are clocking at 2Ghz. Likewise, it has a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for handling graphics.
The phone has 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM paired with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It also features a dedicated MicroSD card slot for expanding storage. Further, it runs on Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1 on top.
