Redmi K50 Ultra is rumored to bring the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset

Xiaomi is planning to add a new device to the Redmi K50 series- the Redmi K50 Ultra. The device is rumored to bring the newest Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset along with a 120Hz AMOLED display. Let’s have a look at the leaks, rumors, launch date, and expected price of the Redmi K50 Ultra in Nepal.

Redmi K50 Ultra Rumors Overview

Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

The Redmi K50 Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset which is yet to be featured in a publicly available smartphone. The chipset was recently announced as the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and brings improvements in CPU and GPU performance. It comes with 3.2Ghz of maximum clock speed and is based on nm TSMC architecture.

Camera

The phone will have a triple rear-facing camera. There will be a 50MP main camera with an f/1.9 aperture. Its ultrawide lens will feature an 8MP sensor with a 120-degree field of view. At last, it will get a 2MP macro camera. Likewise, you will get a 20MP front-facing camera inside the punch hole.

The phone will be able to shoot up to 4k videos up to 60fps. At Full HD resolution, you can shoot up to 120fps videos from the rear camera. From the front camera, you can shoot up to 60fps videos at 1080p resolution.

Display and Design

As per Digital Chat Station, Redmi K50 Ultra will feature a Full HD+ OLED display. It will support up to 120Hz refresh rate and will have a punch-hole cutout at the top center. Likewise, the display will feature DC dimming to reduce the stress on the eyes.

As of now, we haven’t seen the renders of the Redmi K50 Ultra. Taking the design of other Redmi K50 series devices as a reference, we will get a rectangular camera bump with a circular camera layout.

Other Features

Redmi K50 Ultra will have a battery of size between 4800mAh to 5000mAh. It will feature 100W Fash charging via a Type-C port. Furthermore, it will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers setup.

Redmi K50 Ultra Price in Nepal and Availability

Redmi K50 Ultra’s launch date is yet to be revealed. We expect it to launch by the end of June in China. If it launches in Nepal, the expected price of the Redmi K50 Ultra in Nepal is something around NPR 89,999 for the base model.
