Realme, a fast-growing smartphone has recently launched the first device of the latest 9 series, Realme 9i in the Nepali market. The device is currently available for pre-booking in Nepal. We will be comparing this device with Samsung Galaxy M32 as it is available with almost the same specs and features even at the same price in Nepal. So, let’s look at Realme 9i Vs Samsung Galaxy M32 along with their pros and cons.

Design and display:

Here, comparing the design of both devices, as for personal opinion, Realme 9i takes the title as it comes with a more relevant design compared to Samsung Galaxy M32. Realme 9i has a triple camera setup at the back that comes in a rectangular-shaped box. Even though the back panel is built with plastic, it seems to look more attractive than that of Galaxy M32. At the front, Realme 9i features a single selfie camera in a punch-hole design that is placed at the top right of the screen. Whereas, the Galaxy M32 has a single selfie camera in a waterdrop design. Overall, I would say, Realme 9i wins on the part design.

Now, talking about the display of both devices, Galaxy M32 seems to have a better display quality as it is featured with 6.4 inches Super AMOLED display along with a 90Hz refresh rate panel. The AMOLED display gives more varieties of coloring while using the device. You can clearly find the difference while using the device at the same time. On the other hand, Realme 9i is featured with 6.6 inches IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate panel. Comparatively, the Super AMOLED display is better than the IPS LCD panel which makes Galaxy M32 the winner in the display part. 

Performance:

Moving on to performance, both devices come with different processors. On paper, the Realme 9i clearly has a better performance unit as it features Snapdragon 680 processor that is built under 6nm architecture. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy M32 is featured with Mediatek Helio G80 that is built under 12nm architecture. As you can see, there is a vast difference in the transistor, so Realme 9i having a small transistor size has an advantage in battery consumption and performance part.

In addition, the Snapdragon 680 has a higher score as of AnTuTu scores compared to Samsung Galaxy M32. Even with all these plus points Snapdragon 680 has while using the device in real life, there is not much difference in performance. While gaming the Galaxy M32 supports PUBG Mobile at 40fps whereas the Realme 9i with Snapdragon 680 processor supports PUBG Mobile at only 30fps. 

As for software, Realme 9i is featured with Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0 skin on top. Whereas, Samsung Galaxy M32 features Android 11 Software with One UI 3.1 skin on top. However, Samsung has promised 2 major android updates and up to 3 years of android security updates on Galaxy M32.

Camera:

Comparing the cameras of Realme 9i and Samsung Galaxy M32, there is a huge difference as Samsung Galaxy M32 is featured with a quad-camera setup whereas, the Realme 9i is featured with a triple camera setup. Camera-wise, Galaxy M32 takes the lead as it features a 64 MP main camera which is a lot better than the 50 MP that is provided with Realme 9i. On the Realme 9i, there is a 2 MP macro lens and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy M32 has an 8 MP, f/2.2 aperture ultrawide lens with a 123Ëš angle view. Lastly, there is a 2 MP macro and 2 MP depth sensor.

Talking about the front, Realme 9i features a 16 MP, f/2.1 aperture single selfie camera whereas, the Samsung Galaxy M32 features a 20 MP, f/2.2 aperture single selfie camera.

Other features:

Comparing the batteries of both devices, Realme 9i has a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Whereas, Samsung Galaxy M32 packs a massive 6000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The 6000mAh battery on the Galaxy M32 is a lot better than the 5000mAh battery provided with Realme 9i giving more usage time. Realme 9i comes with stereo speakers whereas, Galaxy M32 is available with loudspeakers only.

Comparing the prices, both are available with almost the same price tag for the base variant. Talking about Realme 9i, the base variant is available at the price tag of Rs 24,499. Whereas, Samsung Galaxy M32 is available at a price tag of Rs 24,999. Likewise, both Realme 9i and Samsung Galaxy M32 with a storage variant of 6/128GB are available at Rs 27,999.

Personally, without mentioning the design, I would suggest going with the Samsung Galaxy M32 without a doubt as it has advantageous features like better cameras, battery even with better PUBG gaming experience.
