Redmi A1 Highlights
At first talking on the official teaser dropped by Xiaomi alongside some high-quality renders shows that the Redmi A1 will have some soft pastel colors for the devices with a leather texture style finish on its back panel. Moreover, the teaser also mentions the device will be featuring a 5000mAh battery.
Display
Redmi A1 comes with a large 6.52-inch display with HD+ resolution on the front. Talking about the display design we get a drop notch or what Samsung likes to call an infinity-v display which they are using on their phone that cost above Rs.20000 in Nepal. Now with every budget phone, we do get a thick chin at the bottom of the display.
Performance
Moreover, on the performance side of the device, it is powered by Helio A22 Chipset paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. We also get a microSD card slot to expand the storage further. On the software side, we get clean Andriod 12 OS, which means no MIUI on 2GB RAM phone “PHEW”.
Camera
Redmi A1 features a dual camera setup at the back which comes with an 8MP primary and 0.08 MP (QVGA). The rear camera design seems inspired by Xiaomi 12 series, which I think looks good on a budget phone. On the front, we have a 5MP camera for taking selfies.
Battery & Connectivity:
Redmi A1 comes with a massive 5000mAh battery but sadly Redmi has included a MicroUSB port. EU and India are trying to make Type-C ports compulsory on electronic devices, so I guess we have to wait for a while. For connectivity, we get Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4Ghz Wifi, dual SIM, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Redmi A1 Price in Nepal and Availability
