Overview
Though the Redmi Buds 3 Lite is an affordable version of the Redmi buds 3. The earbuds don’t carry any design features like the Redmi Buds 3 but it gets some design inspiration from the Pro version of the Redmi Buds.
Design and Built
My first impression of the Redmi Buds 3 Lite felt very compact and lightweight. The case of the earbuds can easily fit into the smallest pocket. Moreover talking about the Redmi buds 3 lite’s built quality of the case, it has a matt finish with a plastic body. Whereas the Redmi buds 3 lite earbuds feel comfortable and lightweight in the ear.
Whereas talking about my experience on the Redmi Buds 3 Lite, the earbuds have the perfect fit in-ear. Which almost creates a noise-cancelling effect though it doesn’t have these features. Whereas I noticed that the earbuds are prone to falling off during outdoor running.
Furthermore, the earbuds get a circular design with a silicon ear tip. Along with a silicon ear-hook on the body of the earbuds for a better fit in the ear. Whereas talking about the built quality of earbuds, it also gets a plastic body and a glossy finish on touch control of the Redmi Earbuds lite.
Audio
Moreover talking about the audio quality on the Redmi buds 3 lite, I found it was quite impressive for the price range. While I felt that the bass on the earbuds is decent but the vocal feels slightly low while listening to music with the bass.
Furthermore, we all know that the microphone quality on these earbuds at this price range is poor. Similarly, the Redmi Buds 3 lite also has the same issue with the voice quality over the microphone on the earbuds.
Battery and Charging
Moving on to the battery life of the earbuds, I found that Redmi Earbuds lite lasted around a week typically using 2 hours a day with a charging case. Whereas without a charging case we found the earbuds can last up to 5 hours while listening to music.
Furthermore, the earbuds magnetically charge through the pins in the charging case. Whereas we can find a USB-type C on the charging case of the Redmi Earbuds 3 lite.
Other features
Redmi earbuds 3 Lite comes with a few features such as gaming mode, touch control, and noise cancellation on calls. Whereas we found the touch control features useful for playing, pausing, and skipping music. While we felt the game mode wasn’t useful as there was no difference in the latency. The same goes for the noise cancellation on calls as we felt no improvement.
Verdict
The Redmi Earbuds 3 Lite is one of the most compact and lightweight earbuds in the price range. The build quality of the case and earbuds are on point. When compared with other earbuds at a similar price. Such as the Remax’s TWS-27 wireless earbuds which get a flimsy case. So we can say that the Redmi Earbuds 3 lite is one of the most value-for-money wireless in-earbuds.
So for Whom is this Redmi Earbuds 3 lite for? If you are searching value for money earbuds with good sound quality to listen to music and watch videos. This would be a perfect earbud choice for you. But if you’re the one looking to purchase earbuds to receive calls and constantly on video calls. I wouldn’t recommend this earbud to you. Whereas the same goes for the games too.
