Samsung Galaxy J2 Core 2020 Launched With Android Go OS
Samsung has quietly launched the Galaxy J2 Core 2020 edition in India. The smartphone is a refreshed version of the Galaxy J2 Core which was launched in 2018 and is identical to its predecessor in most aspects.
Galaxy J2 Core 2020 Specs Overview:
The Galaxy J2 Core 2020 comes in plastic body design with a 5.0-inch screen at a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels (~220 PPI density). At this price point, the screen is usable and the plastic design gives the device a durable body.
The device runs on Exynos 7570 (Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53), the same chipset as its predecessor, and comes with upgraded 16GB of storage and 1GB of RAM. The J2 Core 2020 is powered by 2600mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition), which is a lighter version of android.
Speaking of the cameras, you get an 8MP shooter on the back and a 5MP selfie camera which are great for a device at this segment. On the connectivity side, you get Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, FM radio and 3.5mm headphone jack.

All in all the device is just an upgrade in storage and comes with similar specs to the predecessor in all other aspects and is priced similarly as well. The device is available in India at INR 6,299/- (NRs. 10,100/-) with Black, blue, and Gold color options.
Samsung Nepal might launch Galaxy J2 Core 2020 as soon as the lockdown gets over in Nepal. This model might replace the most popular smartphone under Rs.10000 budget from Samsung, Galaxy A2 core.
