Recently, Nepal Government has banned the import of various luxurious products in Nepal. Among them, TVs larger than 32-inch is one of them. The reason for doing so is to avoid the economic crisis in Nepal like Sri Lanka is facing right now.

The rule has been implemented already and will exist till the end of the current fiscal year. After that, the government will revisit the rule and makes changes if necessary.

However, there is no limitation in buying a TV in Nepal which is already imported. There are varieties of TVs larger than 32-inches in stock that you can buy right now.
