Xiaomi announced Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro with SD865 CPU and 108MP camera
Xiaomi has legitimately proclaimed Xiaomi Mi 10 and the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro the two new “premium” smartphones in China.
With high-end specs and premium design, both the phone are powered by Snapdragon 865 and comes with a curved custom AMOLED display panel.
Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro Overview:
The Xiaomi Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro comes with identical blueprint that includes a curved display on the front and a quad-camera setup place on the top left corner of the back and punch-hole camera on the top-left of the screen.
Offering a better screen to body ratio on the new models the chin on the display is reduced to just 3.32mm that measure 9mm in thickness with 4500mAh+ batteries on board. However, the additional Laser focus sensor at the back of the Pro model distinguishes the two models.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Pro models with 7nm octa-core Snapdragon 865 also comes under the hood with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.0 storage. While both of them support Wi-Fi 6, they also come with a rate of 9.6Gbps.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro come with a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate and crest brightness on both the panels reach 1200 nit with a contrast of 5,000,000:1.
Both feature a 108MP camera setup and quad-camera setup at the back featuring a custom 108MP sensor along with a macro, depth, and wide-angle lens. But Mi 10 Pro has a more advanced quad-camera setup at the back that includes a 108MP primary camera with a 10X hybrid optical zoom lens and a higher megapixel portrait and a wide-angle lens.
They are outfitted with dual front and rear light sensors in order to improve the automatic brightness adjustment on both the devices which ensures brightness controlling.
Also, Xiaomi adds that the panel’s △ E (delta E color difference) is 1.1 makes it better than the iPhone and Huawei bellwether models with JNCD (Just Noticeable Color Difference) of less than 0.55.
Talking about speakers, Mi 10 comes dual linear 1.0cc stereo speakers whereas Mi 10 Pro has larger chamber 1.2cc dual stereo speakers. In terms of cooling, both the models approach with the Vapour Chamber liquid-cooling system with multiple layers of graphite and AI machine that tends temperature control. A special cooling fan comes as a separate accessory for the new models.
The Mi 10 Pro is currently the highest-rated DxOMark smartphone that supports 8K video recording, OIS, and EIS.
Now about the battery, The Xiaomi Mi 10 comes with comparatively a larger 4780mAh battery with 30W wired and 30W wireless charging support and it also supports 10W reverse wireless charging, whereas, Mi10 Pro on the other has a slightly smaller 4500mAh battery onboard with increased charging of 50W.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 is already available for pre-order and will go on sale on February 14 in China at 10 AM and shipping starts from February 18 in China.
And speaking about the availability of these smartphones for Nepal, we don’t have any official information yet. But Country General Manager of Xiaomi Nepal, Mr. Sourabh Kothari did ask Mi fans, should they launch Mi 10 series in Nepal too or not on a Facebook group.
So we believe there may be some chances that after a very long time we are going to see Xiaomi flagship smartphones in Nepal again.
