Looks like Xiaomi might enter the desktop PC space

Xiaomi is popular for its numerous product launches, but it seems as if there will be a couple of Windows PCs debuting soon on its list. These two design models were awaited to be unveiled for the postponed Xiaomi December 1 event. There isn’t a new date scheduled for the event, as for now let’s look into the upcoming Xiaomi desktop PC.

The Xiaomi Host Mini PC looks like a small form factor (SFF) design shown off in a barebones state. Similarly, the pc system has a 100W XM22AL5X PSU installed. It is not sure that Xiaomi will be selling it as a barebones kit. And the rest of the hardware that goes in the box is yet to be announced.

The case also has a custom plate on the back with the windows key and “M” key combo depicted on it. Interestingly, the mechanical switch is mounted on the back of the Host Mini PC. The leaked Weibo photos do include an accessory package featuring a keycap for the said button, so it is probably functional but we dont know for what.

The other Xiaomi pc system is a mini PC in the Mac Mini of Intel NUC kind of form factor. It will also be running an MD Ryzen 7 6800H APU – a 45W chip with a Radeon 680M RDNA2 iGPU. It will feature 16GB memory and 512GB SSD. 

Rumored Xiaomi desktop PC space price in Nepal 

The rumored price for the mini pc is CNY 3999 or right around $570. So the expected price for the Xiaomi desktop PC price in Nepal is somewhat Rs 73,991.
