Xiaomi Nepal has increased the price of 3 different Smartphone models


Xiaomi Nepal is currently the No.1 smartphone brand in Nepal but the hike in import duties has struck Xiaomi too. We have seen recently that brands such as OnePlus, Samsung, ZTE & Realme have also increased the prices of their devices. Talking about Xiaomi we have seen a price hike in six different variants of 3 different models. Let’s have a closer look into the Xiaomi devices, which have faced price hikes. 

Xiaomi devices facing price hikes due to increased import duties  

  • Redmi Note 11

Redmi Note 11 is the latest budget smartphone from Xiaomi in Nepal. It features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolutions. Underneath we have Snapdragon 680 Octa-core CPU based on 6nm architecture. Regarding memory, we have 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. We also get a dedicated microSD card slot on Redmi Note 11 to expand its storage.


Before the price hike, Redmi Note 11 was available at NPR. 22,999 for the base 4/64GB variant but now, due to the price hike, the device will retail at NPR. 23,999 for a similar storage variant. While the 4/128GB variant will retail at the same price as NPR. 24,999. Whereas the price of the 6/128GB variant has increased by NPR 1000 from NPR 26,999 to NPR 27,999.

  • Redmi Note 11S

Redmi Note 11s was launched in Nepal along with the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. It is the successor to one of the popular Redmi Note 10s from the Redmi Note 10 series. The phone runs on MediaTek Helio G96 chipset paired with 6/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Likewise, it ships with Android 11 with MIUI 13 on top. It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.


Talking about the price hike, earlier the 6/128GB variant of Redmi Note 11S was available at NPR. 29,999 but after the price hike, now the device will retail at NPR. 30,999. Whereas the 8/128GB variant will cost you NPR. 32,999, which previously was NPR. 31,999.

  • Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G

Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is the most premium offering from Xiaomi under the Note series. It comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It has a Full HD+ resolution and punches hole design. Similarly, the display supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and up to a 360Hz touch sampling rate. There is a triple camera setup at the back missing a depth camera.


Previously the 6/128GB variant of Note 11 Pro 5G was available at NPR 36,999 but now the device will retail at NPR 38,499. While the 8/128GB has also increased from NPR 39,999 to NPR 41,499.
