After all the rumors, Xiaomi has finally launched its flagship Mi 11 in Nepal after their recent launch of Redmi Note 10 Pro, Poco X3 Pro, and Poco F3. The device had launched Globally way back in February, and we just got the Mi 11 to launch in Nepal at the end of May. Let’s have a close look at what Mi 11 brings to the table and the Mi 11 price in Nepal.
Mi 11 – Overview
Design and Display
Mi 11 brings a premium design with a curved display and minimum bezels. We have Gorilla Glass Victus both at the front and a frosted glass back.
At the front, we get a 6.81-inch 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is an AMOLED panel with a punch hole on the top left corner. The display in Mi 11 is A+ certified, supports HDR10+ with maximum brightness above 1700 nits. It also supports an industry-leading 480 Hz touch sampling rate. While talking about speakers, we get a dual stereo speaker setup tweaked by Harman Kardon. The device is 8.06 mm thin despite having a 4600mAh battery.
Last year we had a quad-camera set up in the regular Mi 10, whereas with Mi 11, we have a Triple camera setup at the back. Here we have a 108 MP f/1.85 Primary shooter. It is a 7P lens with OIS and PDAF with 1/33” 1.6 μm large pixel size. Along with that, we get a 13MP f/2.4 Ultra-wide lens. It is a 5P lens with a 123° wide angle of view. The last one on the list is a 5MP f/2.4 lens with 2X Telephoto and Auto Focus capability for Macro Shots. While at the front, we have a 20 MP f/2.4 selfie shooter inside the punch hole. On paper, the specs look quite promising.
As this is the flagship for 2021, Mi 11 comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It is a 2.84Ghz octa-core Chip based on a 5nm fabrication process, but with slightly different cores here; we get a Cortex-X1 Prime core clocked at 2.84 GHz, and along with that, there are three performance Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz. They are joined by four power-efficient A55 cores running at 1.8GHz. Here GPU duties are handled by Adreno 660 GPU. We have 8/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM clocked at 6400Mbps and UFS 3.1 storage to ensure smooth performance. We can expect some serious performance from this next-gen flagship as it is a beast looking at the specs.
Battery, Charger, and Software
You need some good juice to power this, so Xiaomi has taken good care of that. With Mi 11, we get a 4600mAh battery with the support for 55W wired and 50 W wireless charging. As we all know, Xiaomi has removed the charger from the box, but unlike Apple, you will be getting a 55W charger with your Mi 11.
