Motorola G51 5G Coming to the Market: Snapdragon 480 5G And a 50MP Camera

Motorola is coming back strong in the smartphone game now. Motorola smartphones pack a powerful set of hardware at a particular price point, running stock Android, and a pretty strong set of cameras. Following the same philosophy, Motorola is launching their latest device, the Moto G51 5G in India on the 10th of December. And considering the market behavior, Moto G51 5G is expected to launch in Nepal as well, at an affordable price range.

Motorola G51 5G – Overview 

Design and Display 

Just like any other mid-range device in 2021, Moto G51 features a plastic build. At the back, it houses a triple camera setup along with LED flash and Moto logo at the center. The device is quiet on the heavy side, weighing around 208gm, and is 9.1mm thin. While at the front, we are treated with a large 6.8-inches LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is a high-refresh-rate 120Hz panel with a pixel density of 387PPI. 

Performance 

On the performance side of things, the Moto G51 5G is powered by Snapdragon 480 5G SoC. It has an octa-core CPU with clock speeds up to 2.2GHz along with Adreno 619 GPU. This is the same GPU used on devices like OnePlus Nord CE 5G, Samsung F52 5G, Xiaomi Mi 10T-Lite, and even Samsung M42 5G which were running on Snapdragon 750 SoC. 

On the memory side of things, Moto G51 5G is equipped with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM along with 64 or 128GB of internal storage. 

Camera 

Talking about the optics, Moto G51 5G features a triple camera setup at the rear with a 50MP f/1.8 primary camera along with an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera and a 2MP f/2.4 macro shooter. With this setup, the device can capture 1080P videos at 60fps and 1080P slow-mos at up to 240 frames per second. While at the front, inside the punch hole we get a 13 MP, f/2.2 shooter, which can capture 1080P at 30fps. While the one launched in China features a 16MP shooter at the front. 

Battery and Software 

Moto G51 5G is equipped with a 5000mAh battery but misses out on fast charging as it only supports 10W. Talking about the software, we have almost a stock android UI with Android 11. Highlighting a few of the other specs, the device supports Wifi ac and Bluetooth 5.1. It also has NFC support in some of the regions. 

Moto G51 5G Price in Nepal and Availability 

Right after its Indian launch, Moto G51 5G might launch soon in Nepal. Looking at its specs the expected price of the Moto G51 5G in Nepal is Rs.29,999 for the 4/64GB variant.
