OnePlus Buds Z with Dolby Atmos feature officially launched in Nepal
The second set of OnePlus’s truly wireless earbuds is launched in Nepal. The company had launched its first set of wireless earbuds a few months back. Comparing the new Buds Z with the previous Buds, we can see that OnePlus has made some major changes in its design and specs- some upgrades and some degrade, of course. Nevertheless, receiving a complete set of TWS features at this price is exciting.
Let’s get to know more about the OnePlus Buds Z- its specifications and price in Nepal.
OnePlus Buds Z- Overview
Design-wise the OnePlus has tried to avoid the problem it had faced with the original OnePlus Buds, which resembled the Apple Airpods.
So, the new Buds Z earbuds have the signature design that can be found in all of the wireless audio products of OnePlus. The buds are oblong in shape that houses the drivers with a large flat circular back panel that is touch-sensitive. The speaker is identical to Bullets Wireless 2/Z.
It also has a stem design with a long stalk that houses the battery, antenna, and other features. Moreover, OnePlus has added silicone ear-tips that are comfortable to put on and are very light-weighted. The buds are also IP55 rated for dust and water resistance; so, you can keep them on even during sweaty workouts.
Talking about the case, despite the long stalk, OnePlus, sticking to the trend, made a horizontal case instead of a vertical one. As the case is built of glossy hard plastic, it looks shines beautifully. At the front, it has an LED to indicate the battery and on the back, it has a USB-C port for charging.
Software and Performance
If you are an android or IOS user, you’ll need an app to operate this earbud. However, if you have a Oneplus phone, you get a built-in app called OnePlus Buds. These apps will show you the battery life of the earbuds, you can change the touch gestures with them and update the firmware as well.
As for the performance, the earbuds have good audio quality for the price. You can get a warm and bassy sound. Moreover, with the Dolby Atmos sound setting, you can enjoy your music and movies more than ever with wider, three-dimensional sound.
The Buds Z will support wireless transmission via Bluetooth 5.0 connection. The range of the wireless earbuds is 10m.
As for the microphone performance, it is quite decent for the price. Moreover, the buds have reasonably low latency.
As for the battery, each earbud has a battery capacity of 40mAh battery that can offer up to 5 hours of playback on a single charge. As for the charging case, the case has a battery capacity of 450mAh. With this capacity, you can enjoy additional 15 hours of playback time. The earbuds also feature fast charging support.
