Redmi 10 Prime Vs Samsung Galaxy F22- Specs comparison

Xiaomi recently launched a budget-based device Redmi 10 Prime. The device comes with an impressive 50MP main camera along with many other features. As this device is a budget device, it can be compared with other budget devices like the Samsung Galaxy F22 which is also counted as one of the best devices under Rs 25,000. Here, in this article, we will be comparing Redmi 10 Prime with Samsung Galaxy F22 looking at their features and price differences.

Design and display:

Comparing the design and display of Samsung Galaxy F22 and Redmi 10 Prime, we get almost the same sized display where Redmi 10 Prime comes with 6.5 inches and Galaxy F22 comes with 6.4 inches making it slightly smaller than Redmi 10 Prime. Likewise, Redmi 10 Prime comes with a 90Hz refresh rate with LCD. Here, with the Samsung Galaxy F22, we get an HD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz of refresh rate. The Redmi 10 Prime is protected with Gorilla Glass 3 while the Samsung Galaxy F22 gets the much better Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front. 

Talking about the design, we get a slimmer design on F22 as it comes with a thickness of 9.4mm whereas Redmi 10 Prime comes with a thickness of 9.6mm.

Camera and software:

Here, both devices are featured with a quad-camera setup. But the Redmi 10 Prime might have a better camera with the main camera of 50 MP, f/1.8 aperture. Galaxy F22 features the main camera of 48 MP, f/1.8 aperture. Talking about the secondary cameras, F22 takes the lead as it has an ultrawide camera of 8 MP, f/2.2 aperture with an angle view of 123˚. Redmi 10 Prime features an ultrawide camera of 8 MP, f/2.2 aperture with an angle view of 120˚.  For the front, we get an 8MP f/2.0 sensor on the Redmi 10 Prime, whereas Samsung Galaxy F22 features a 13 MP, f/2.2 sensor inside the dewdrop notch. Both the device can record 1080P  videos at 30fps from both rear and front camera setup.

Talking about software, Samsung clearly wins as it features Android 11 with One UI Core 3.1 skin on top. It provides security patches along with software updates for two years. While some might like the MIUI on the Redmi 10 Prime, as we get MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11.

Performance and battery:

Talking about performance, both devices come with almost the same processor. Redmi 10 Prime features MediaTek Helio G88 processor built under 12 nm architecture whereas Samsung Galaxy F22 features Mediatek Helio G80 which is also built under 12 nm architecture. Here, the difference between the two different processors is Helio G88 supports the 90Hz refresh rate better than the Heli0 80. While the MediaTek Helio 88 also supports a better camera compared to Mediatek Helio 80. 

Talking about the battery, both devices are powered by a 6000mAh battery. Redmi 10 Prime supports 18W fast charging whereas Samsung Galaxy F22 supports 15W fast charging.

Talking about price, both devices cost Rs 23,999 for the 6/128GB variant. Whereas Redmi 10 Prime costs Rs.20,999 for 4/64GB and Samsung Galaxy F22 costs Rs 20,499 for 4/64GB.
