Redmi Note 11 triumphs as the No.1 smartphone in Nepal in Q1 2022

According to, International Data Corporation’s Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, Redmi Note 11 is the highest imported smartphone in Nepal in Q1 2022.

In Nepal, budget phones are the most demanded ones. Redmi Note 11 falls under the same category and has excellent specifications for the price. The phone comes with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. On top of that, it supports a 90Hz refresh rate making normal scrolls, gaming, and browsing experience so smooth. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 4/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

On the camera side of things, we get a quad-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor. Along with that, we get an 8MP ultra-wide and a pair of 2MP for each depth and macro sensor. While at the front we get a 13MP selfie shooter inside the hole punch aligned at the top center.

As we reported earlier, Xiaomi Nepal is the No.1 Smartphone brand for the 7th Consecutive Quarter. The budget and mid-range phones from Xiaomi are very popular in Nepal. Other than Redmi Note 11, Redmi 10 Prime 2022 and Redmi 9A have also received good sales numbers in Nepal.

The company is continuously expanding its portfolio in Nepal as they are launching varieties of products like Xiaomi Watch S1 Active, Redmi Smart Band Pro, Mi Air Purifier 3, and many more.

Along with the budget and mid-range segment, Xiaomi is looking to capture some market share in the premium mid-range and flagship smartphones segments in Nepal. They are launching almost every flagship and premium midrange phone in Nepal. The company recently launched Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12, and Xiaomi 12 Pro in Nepal. Likewise, their midrange phones and budget phones like Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11s are getting good responses from the customers.

As of now, Xiaomi has over 3000 authorized retail stores and over 15 authorized stores all over Nepal. They are providing good after-sales service which is actually helping them to sell more smartphones.
