Redmi Note 10s Vs Realme 8- Specs comparison 

Realme again launched Realme 8 with a new variant in Nepal with a storage variant of 6/128GB RAM. The device is now available in all authorized stores in Nepal. Also, the device comes with a price tag of Rs 27,199. The specs and features of Realme 8 somewhat match with Redmi Note 10s. So, here in this article, we will be comparing Realme 8 with Redmi Note 10s.

Design and display:

Here, talking about Realme 8, we get a 6.4 inches Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Whereas, the Redmi Note 10s comes with a larger display of 6.43 inches AMOLED display. Talking about the design, Realme 8 is built with glass at the front and with plastic at back. Redmi Note 10s is built with Gorilla Glass 3 on both sides. Redmi Note 10s is slightly thicker than the Realme 8 with a thickness of 8.3mm whereas Realme 8 has a thickness of 8mm. We get a quad-camera setup with both devices where the camera in Redmi Note 10s is in a rectangular shape and in Realme 8 the camera comes in a square-shaped design.

Performance:

Talking about performance, both devices have the same processor. Both devices are featured with a Mediatek Helio G95 processor that is built under 12 nm architecture. The 12nm architecture is featured with an octa-core processor with two Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.05 GHz and six Cortex-A55 clocked at 2.0 GHz. talking about software, Redmi Note 10s is featured with Android 11, MIUI 12.5 operating system, and Realme 8 is featured with Android 11, Realme UI 2.0 operating system. 

Camera:

Moving on, both devices are featured with a quad-camera setup. Redmi Note 10s comes with a quad-camera setup where the main camera is 64 MP, f/1.8 aperture wide-angle camera. There is an 8 MP, f/2.2 aperture ultra-wide camera with an angle view of 118˚. Completing the setup, there is a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture macro camera and a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture depth sensor. Talking about Realme 8, it also comes with a 64 MP, f/1.8 aperture main camera. There is an 8 MP, f/2.3 aperture ultrawide camera with an angle view of 119˚. Completing the setup, there is a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture macro camera and a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture depth sensor. Redmi Note 10s can record videos up to 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps, 720p@960fps whereas, Realme 8 can record videos up to 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps.

Other features:

Both devices come with a 5000mAh battery but the fast charging support is different. Redmi Note 10s features fast-charging up to 33W wheres, Realme 8 supports fast-charging up to 30W. Redmi Note 10s is featured with dual stereo speakers but the Realme 8 does not support stereo speakers.  Redmi Note 10s has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner whereas, Realme 8 has an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Comparing the price, both devices cost almost the same as Redmi Note 10s costs Rs 27,999 for the 6/128GB whereas, Realme 8 costs Rs 27,199 for the  6/128GB variant.
